Zi Zia Pizzeria: Authentic Italian Pizza in Bloomfield, NJ

Loved it. The atmosphere was great! They did not cut any corners with the food. The wings had a good amount of sauce and were perfectly crispy. The pizza had a nice crust and the perfect amount of cheese. The desserts were beautiful. The cooks clearly put a lot of effort and love into their food, and it shows.

Nice cozy spot, with a nice intimate dining area. Good for smaller gatherings. The employees were very kind and courteous, made us feel welcomed. The pizza was GREAT! Honestly, it's probably the best pizza I've had in the state of NJ!! The sauce in the pie was sweet and made the pepperoni slice tasted like dessert. The Buffalo chicken pizza pie was loaded and crunchy & didn't flop at all. Their peppers and onions on a stuffed crust was also so good and the crust was almost caramelized. Can wait to visit again and introduce my family to this place! Update: Family loves it too!

This place came highly recommended and it did not disappoint. It’s very rare not to find something wrong about any establishment but I really didn’t find any. Service was good and friendly, the place was attractively clean and priced fairly for the big portions that they serve you. I will gladly return

We havnt been there in a while so when we saw they were under new management we decided to try again. The staff was pleasant and the place was clean. We ordered a Sicilian pizza that was excellent. But, is doesn't re-heat well. So make sure you have enough friends to help you eat all 9 slices. I put some garlic on my slice and black pepper before I ate it to give the sauce a little kick. But it wasn't bad. I would go again to try the regular pie. They do serve other meals as well.

Onions rings and wraps are pretty on point Specialty pizza is good. Not a huge fan of normal cheese/pepperoni, but I’m picky

We were invited to Zi Zia a few months back by some friends for lunch. Since it was our first time there, I ordered a slice as an appetizer and my go to test meal of eggplant rollatini with a side of rigatoni. I must say, everything was spot on. Zi Zia was impressive enough that we in turn invited some friends for lunch a month or so later. On that visit they were more than happy to make me an off menu entree. Since then, I have both walked in and called in advance for "To Go" items. Never a problem. Today was the delivery test. Once again, Zi Zia outperformed our expectations. The pizza and meal were fresh, hot and delivered before the estimated time. Overall, Zi Zia is a excellent local restaurant with good food, good atmosphere and good service all at a reasonable price. Will definitely continue dining in, picking up and ordering delivery. FYI: I know ownership did not build the place but, even though clean and bright, if you're over six (6) foot tall, the Men's Room is quite cramped. Only complaint; No Pepsi, Coke only.

Truly one of the best pizza slices I’ve ever had, and I can’t wait to go back to try more meals on the menu! From the food to the customer service to the atmosphere, you won’t be disappointed! Love this restaurant!
